Oakwood Country club offers several types of memberships in an effort to accommodate the needs of interested parties. The general categories are defined below. It is recommended that you review the benefits and limitations of each option with a member of the club Membership Committee.

Equity Regular Membership: Allows the members, including husband and wife members, unlimited access to all club events (Social and Golf) while owning a share in the club assets. Equity members may vote on issues and may serve on the Board of Trustees.

Equity Social Membership: Equity Social members, including husband and wife social members, are limited to three rounds of golf each season. They may attend all social functions, vote on club issues and serve on the Board of Trustees.

Equity Couple with Non-Golfing Partner Membership: The golfing member shall be considered the equity member with unlimited access to all club events (Social and Golf) while owning a share in the club assets. The Non-Golfing member is a social member. Social members may attend all social gatherings. They cannot vote on pertinent issues as presented by the Board of trustees. Equity members may vote on issues and may serve on the Board of Trustees.

Equity Regular Single Membership: Allows the member unlimited access to all club events (Social and Golf) while owning a share in the club assets. Equity members may vote on issues and may serve on the Board of Trustees.

Equity Social Single Membership: Equity Social single members are limited to three rounds of golf each season. They may attend all social functions, vote on club issues and serve on the Board of Trustees.

Non-Equity Regular Membership: Allows the members, including husband and wife members, unlimited access to all club events (Social and Golf), but without voting rights.

Non-Equity Social Membership: The same limitation on number of rounds as other social members applies. Social members may attend all social gatherings. They cannot vote on pertinent issues as presented by the Board of trustees.

Non-Equity Couple with Non-Golfing Partner Membership: The golfing member shall have unlimited access to all club events (Social and Golf), but without voting rights. The Non-Golfing member is a social member. Social members may attend all social gatherings.

Non-Equity Regular Single Membership: Allows the member unlimited access to all club events (Social and Golf), but without voting rights.

Non-Equity Social Single Membership: The same limitation on number of rounds as other social members applies. A Social member may attend all social gatherings. They cannot vote on pertinent issues as presented by the Board of trustees.

Admission Policies:
* Must be 21 years of age and be of good character
* Non-discriminatory
* Complete and present membership application to membership committee chair
* Be sponsored by a member
* Be present for at least one social event
* Receive Board approval for membership and receive acceptance by Club President
